Sourav Ganguly has said that former India coach Greg Chappell spoiled his career.

Blaming Chappell's 'backroom politics' for effectively ruining his career, the former India captain told a Mumbai daily in London, "How many more times will such things (controversies) happen? He spoil my career."

Chappell's name has come into the limelight again now after he was sacked from Australia's selection panel.

"Now, people will know who was right and who was wrong. He's such a big cricketer... a big name... it's very unfortunate," he told the daily.
